Communications

We will use the contact details supplied to send communication regarding your membership, weekly meetings and other communications, including by email, WhatsApp and SMS.

Please use the email opt-out link or email us at hello@academyofpublicspeakers.com if you would like to stop receiving such communications.

Your Membership

Membership of the Coaching Programme is for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Upon beginning the 12-week Coaching Programme with your initial payment, the following two monthly payments are mandatory, even if you have to defer part of the programme.

If you cannot attend a week or more of training, we will provide substitute sessions at our discretion as long as you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of each training session.

After completing the 12-week Coaching Programme, your membership will transition to a 4-week Coaching Programme, automatically renewing every 4 weeks.

Cancelling Your Membership

If you'd like to cancel your membership after completing the initial 12-week Coaching Programme, please provide at least 1 week's notice before your next scheduled payment date.

Send your cancellation request in writing to hello@academyofpublicspeakers.com.

If we don't receive the required notice, we reserve the right to collect any outstanding payments due to unfulfilled agreements.

If you choose to rejoin our training programme in the future, you will be subject to the prevailing membership rate at the time of rejoining.

Filming and Photography

Please note meetings, events or part of it may be filmed by audio, visual, audio-visual or electronic means or photographed, including photographs of individuals or groups of delegates.

By attending events, you agree to permit the Academy of Public Speakers to use and distribute such footage and photographs, which may feature images of You, in all or any media (including the internet and social media) whether now known or hereafter to be invented throughout the world in perpetuity for the purposes of advertising, publicity, reporting and otherwise in relation to the exploitation of such recordings and photographs.

Please inform the event organisers and the videographer/photographer on the event day if you do not wish to be included in any individual or group photograph.
